Today will be muggy and mainly cloudy with high temperatures reaching
the low 80s. Surface dew points reaching into the 50s and 60s ahead of
a cold front sweeping eastward from the Great Lakes will trigger an
afternoon/evening shower or storm today. Showers and storms are
expected to continue/refire overnight into Tuesday. Any storms could
produce occasional heavy downpours, hail and strong winds, especially
Tuesday afternoon. But high pressure quick on the heels of this cold
front will bring dry and slightly cooler conditions to the forecast
Wednesday, with highs only in the mid 70s. A more or less zonal flow
will make for a dry, mainly sunny end of week forecast with highs in
the low/mid 80s and lows near 60.
