Cooler and breezy today with a slight chance for an afternoon rain shower. Highs reach the mid 50s today. Temps falling into the low 30s/upper 20s tonight will bring a changeover to snow, especially in our northern mountains. Measurable accumulation is not expected. But freeze watches & warnings are in effect for nearly the entire state for tonight through Wednesday morning. Any vegetation left unprotected will be damaged or killed.

The chilly nights will continue through Wednesday and Thursday nights. Low pressure will bring warmer temps and the chance for rain into the weekend.
