We'll keep mainly sunny skies along with dry and calm conditions
today. Highs will reach the upper 40s. But low pressure advancing into
our region will bring increasing clouds this evening and overnight.
Expect a rain/snow mix across the lowlands by Wednesday morning as
that low pressure continues its eastward progression. Cold air behind
that front will bring a changeover to all snow Wednesday with upslope
mountain snow flurries being the primary precip type into Wednesday
afternoon. Minimal accumulation is expected during this time. A dry
and somewhat mild forecast is in store for Thursday and Friday. But a
colder airmass will bring more winter-like temperatures along with the
threat for a wintry mix of precip over the coming weekend.
