Leftover low pressure from the weekend makes for a soggy & chilly start to the workweek. Overcast skies & northwest upper air flow will severely limit daytime heating today. Temperatures will only reach the mid 50s today. Lows tonight will fall into the upper 40s across much of the forecast area. That northwest flow aloft will keep light wrap around rain showers in the forecast, especially in the mountains throughout the day today and into Tuesday. Low pressure system will finally exit to the east Tuesday, allowing for gradual drying from west to east during the day Tuesday. High pressure will bring much more agreeable weather Wednesday through the rest of this week. Temperatures will gradually rebound with daytime highs reaching a few degrees warmer each day. Highs will reach the low 80s by the weekend with several solid days of sunshine providing some well-deserved relief!!
